TrailKidz

Trail Kidz is a free series of trail running events for children, funded by our Epic Kidz charity. Our mission is to encourage as many children as possible to take part. The distance is 1k and there are medals for all finishers. We are actively encouraging schools, children’s voluntary groups and running clubs to be involved. We will build an army of trail running children and nothing will stand in our way.

Trail Kidz are delivered in conjunction with http://www.Trail26.com who organise trail races ranging from 10k through to marathon. If we can get children to take part then it may encourage some of the parents to take part in the 10k. It may not happen this year, but perhaps in 12 months time they will feel prepared. We’ll start with the little ones and the big ones will follow, their children will infect them with the trail running bug.

Help us build the Trail Kidz army, please share this page and like our FACEBOOK PAGE. Tell your friends who have children to come along to the events. Parents can run with the kids and support them, all children are welcome, it is not necessary for parents to take part in Trail 10/13/26.

So you’d like to enter? That’s great, all the events are free, all children receive a medal and they are participation based (no times or prizes for winners).

To register for Trail kidz, go to the event page (menu above). Click the relevant Trail Kidz registration link, add an email and the names of the children taking part and we’ll see you on the day. No information is sent out before the event, just turn up beforehand, register on the day and take part.
